A new approach to health that's thousands of years old SM
"Where there is the free flow of Qi, there is no pain; where
there is pain there is no free flow of Qi". This statement underlies
the powerful simplicity of Acupuncture. Using the theories of
Traditional Oriental Medicine, Dr. Vickery uses gentle acupuncture
treatments to balance the flow of energy [Qi or Ch'i] in her
patient's bodies, eliminating pain and restoring function.
Dr. Vickery has found that gentle needling, similar to that
performed by practitioners in Japan, can be as effective as the
powerful needling traditionally performed by practitioners in China
and Korea for the types of conditions she sees in her clinic.
In addition to needles, Dr. Vickery uses Traditional Oriental
medicinals to augment treatments and aid in her patient's return to
health. Dr. Vickery is also an instructor at Emperor's College of
Traditional Oriental Medicine.
